Some Things to Love About the Schecter Hellraiser
My favorite guitars growing were always made by Gibson and Fender but over the last couple of years I have adopted the Schecter Hellraiser as my all time favorite guitar. The sweet tone produced by the heavy mahogany body is great for blues and classic rock and when you plug it into a dirty channel on your amp you’ll get a grinding distortion that is only rivaled by several other guitars on the market.
EMG powered pickups are standard on al the Hellraisers and this is where it gets its great distortion and clear, but not sterile, clean tone. Floyd Rose supplies the whammy bar bridge setup and Schecter designs and supplies the locking tuners.
The different models of Hellraiser guitars are the V, C, Avenger and Solo. I have the solo, which is modeled after a Les Paul. I chose the white model, but your can also get black and cherry on some of the other models as well.
The C body is modeled after the Strat and I’ll be adding one of these to my collection in the near future.
